What we target

Red Cardinal aims for practical WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

What has been done

• Semantic HTML with landmark structure
• Visible keyboard focus on interactive elements
• Labels on every form control, and errors announced to assistive technology
• Heading hierarchy checked on core routes
• Reduced-motion support
• Touch targets sized for mobile
• Dark-first design with contrast checked against AA for body text

What we have not verified

• Full screen-reader testing across NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver
• Third-party embedded content
• Every state of every interactive component
• Light theme contrast at AA across all components

We would rather list what is unverified than claim compliance we have not tested.
