AI assistance

Red Cardinal uses AI tools in research and drafting. Every published claim is verified against primary sources by a human before publication, and the sourcing standards in Editorial Standards apply regardless of how a draft was produced.

Where a company dossier covers an AI company we use tools from, that is noted in the dossier itself.

Compensation

Red Cardinal is funded by memberships. We do not take payment for coverage, do not run sponsored research, and do not accept payment to include a company in the RC 100.

Company access

We do not currently accept paid company briefings or expert-network arrangements. If that changes, this page changes first.

Personal holdings

Where the founder holds a material financial interest in a company, security or asset directly discussed in a piece of research, that interest is disclosed in the article itself.

We do not publish a full portfolio. A blanket holdings page would disclose a great deal that is irrelevant to what you are reading and still leave you checking a separate document to find the one line that matters. Disclosure belongs next to the claim it bears on.

"Material" means a holding large enough that a reasonable reader would want to know about it when weighing our analysis of that specific company.
